Aww pokemon! I wanna draw them too. In DA I always encounter these amazing painters and all they paint is pokemon... been wondering about that. You've joined the club I see. :'D Love what you did with the Djinn. :3

Thanks all <3

Been following a figure drawing course last week, which involved drawing from 10am till 5pm for 5 days. It was really intense and when I got home I couldn't do anything else but lay on the couch. So forgive me my absence, but I needed it I'll see if I can upload some works later one, though there is nothing really great between it, since I only had 15-20 minutes tops for the works. Did learn a lot about letting go and not worrying too much while drawing Well, I'll probably can't stand drawing for another 2 days, then I'll be back here for some more digital work!

Started doing some exercises I'll be doing over the next few weeks, trying to make something in 45, making it as complete as possible, to teach me to leave details for later. Ravenhawk inspired me to pick up speedpaintings :3 Here is a doodle of a warrior, sadly didn't have enough time to add gloves and the sword, need more exercises

Tried to make a strong warrior face, give the female face a few male features. Again 45 minutes. Overall not very happy, but I'm finally happy with how the nose turned out. Normally I always dislike them. No ref used, you can still see some of the transform lines

Edit: I'm probably going to move my time limit to 1-1,5 hour soon, if anyone wants to be subject of it, feel free to post your character. Since the time is limited, I will not always follow the armor as shown, but a simplified version. It will mostly be about the colors of the setting. At your own risk of ruining the appearance of your character

Wippie of a portrait I'm doing for Blasius over at the GW2G boards. 1 hour so far. Tomorrow I'm going to give the mouth and the other eye some attention

@IH: I would draw Kimi, but I know very little about her armor, and Magiks picture doesn't give me all too much to go on either. If you could give me some more info on the armor, that would be better.

Getting a bit more detailed then I was planning on, but whatevs.

Btw IH: I would advice you to find someone (or do it yourself) to make a character sheet about Kimi. Just the one picture of Magik and the little amount of info makes it a bit hard to draw something. Things like eyecolor, height, a clear picture of her clothing etc. etc. is always useful.

Looks really promising!

And that's a good idea, I'll see if I can find someone.

Trying out E.H. Shepards style. He's the original illustrator of Winnie the Pooh, much better then the crap produced these days

And a little bit of progress on Kimi, adding in some color.

Shameless double post with a shameless pin up. Trying to do some more personal works the coming day since I tend to do those a lot faster.
